Finally

I know, I've been a blogger slacker. I offer no excuses.

It's finally autumn in Colorado--crisp days, big down comforters on the bed. My new job is going well. I like the people I work with, and the project(s) are moving forward for the summer season on the Ice. Today is writing day (see Oliver's blog for info on finding time to write), and the contests with Oct and Nov deadlines go out today. Laundry, the Great Distractor, and Building the Bar, the Most-Procrastinated-Home-Improvement-Project-Ever, are also on the list.

Which makes me think about what makes a day, any day, so remarkable? Folded laundry? Dogs playing in piles of leaves? Fumes of polyurethane? Sure, these, and all those quiet spaces in between these things.
