I am Behind

My friend Oliver has posed a challenge, and I am 10 behind now. That's a third of the challenge. That doesn't mean I'm not going to catch up. What it means is that I've written one draft of one poem, which is more than I've done in a long time.

My friend Charlie also had a wonderful post in which I received an accidental assignment. He also said he wished for something to matter, to be crucial.

My simple but crucial is my girl who now waves at me without being showed how; who talks and talks without words; who follows me with a smile on her face; who will lean in and give me a kiss if I ask for one.
