The Week Before...

There's nothing like having 23 relatives at your house for Thanksgiving. I didn't even have that big a crowd when I lived with the Harringtons (for more details, see my published works). Marc has taken this week off from work to finish up some "projects"--the bar, cleaning the crawl space to make the storage room into a guest room, and getting rid of all the cardboard boxes that still had a lot of our stuff in them a year ago.

So what do we do? We agree to have a party to welcome our new bar into existence. It will be a great time, and I'm sure there will be pictures to prove it. Hey, at least we'll have cleaned the house prior to Thanksgiving!

There's still much left to do, and I know there's more to say about family, but there's a man who just woke up and wants to snuggle with me and coffee; there are dogs who want to play "scratch-behind-my-ears-and-I'll-clean-yours." There's frost on the grass and a bright sun rising.
