RUNES

I got my copies of RUNES: A Review of Poetry just before the holidays, and was thrilled and excited to see all the great talent in this "Storm" issue. I consider myself blessed and lucky to be included among the likes of so many friends/poets from ASU: Beckian Fritz Goldberg, Sean Nevin, Norman Dubie.... It is a great issue, to be sure.

Of course, what should have followed was a flurry of poetic activity in which I wrote, revised, and did all the things I promise myself I'll do. Instead, I made Christmas candy and homemade doggie treats, wrapped presents, entertained friends, and did all the joyful things of the holiday. And I'm not feeling guilty about any of it (except perhaps the candy I ate, but that's a different story...).

Work is what New Year's is for. Happy New Year's to everyone. I hope all your resolutions are tiny, achieveable, and successful.
