Claire is doing great. She's in an open crib and doing well to maintain her temperature. She's been "pumping up" and gaining weight; usually they lose a little when they come in to an open crib. Today we're trying her on a bottle. She's got to eat on her own in order to come home. She'll learn bottle and breast at the same time, but she's been doing breast for a few weeks--no real volume, but rooting, latching, and a few sucks. The hardest part is coordinating suck-swallow-breathe. But we love seeing her!

I'm back to work almost full-time from home, and coordinating how to get things done has become even more of a challenge. But so far so good! I think when I don't have to lose 2 hours a day driving to and from the hospital (more when I pick Marc up from work), it will be a little better.
