More Spring in the Air

This morning, the chickadees who are fervently building a nest on the back porch got busy on a hanging bracket. It's a cloudy rainy day, and it seemed they took a little break from nest building to do their bird thing (which was pretty impressive, considering the balancing, wing-flapping, and deed they had to complete). The only sad part is that we're having the roof over the porch replaced at the beginning of June, so if they do lay eggs, they will probably abandon them with all the roof work.

It's amazing what becomes fascinating when you're stuck in a recliner or bed.
