I am a Bad Blogger
I finally decided to take the 3 minutes it takes to write an entry here, since I haven't written in over 2 months. Bad, bad blogger. I enjoy reading other blogs, and always feel guilt (left over from my Catholic days) that I haven't been better about keeping up with my blog, or with my own reading/writing world. Claire is a whole world unto herself, without the new added work responsibilities at my job.
But I am not the only bad blogger. Oliver has finally returned to blogging after experiencing wedded bliss. Hopefully he still is experiencing it.
For those of you obsessed with babies, Claire is huge by comparative standards--probably around 12 lbs now. Reaching for things, and sleeping through the night (oh, blessed sleep!). She's got personality now, and while we're still working on her holding her head up (remember, she's just 2 1/3 months old by gestational standards), she's doing a great job when she sits on our laps.
Any mothers/fathers out there who fell into the writerly/poetic black hole when they had kids? Where's the rope to pull ourselves out?

I've just read your blog from the post about Claire's birth through to this post. She is a darling. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your blog.
