Nor' Easter in Colorado

The snow keeps falling. Claire and I had a good day at home; I worked for half the day (the office closed at noon), and then we just chilled. The predicted final snowfall amount is 18-24 inches, but it looks like there's already 18 outside. Check out pictures here. I like snow, but when I'm alone, and when I have travel plans, and when Marc is scheduled to fly in on Friday, I don't like it so much. I've shamelessly requested help with shoveling, too, since I'm supposed to take it easy until my cerclage is placed first week in January.

It truly is a nor' easter, from the way the weather people are describing it and from the doppler images. I'm shocked by that, being from Boston and knowing what a real nor' easter is like.

We've got tomorrow off, too, as we're expecting about another 10-12 inches overnight. Yippee! Let's just hope the hot tub cover doesn't cave in. The National Guard is going to help with the roadways, the news says. I-70 closed from my town all the way to Kansas. I-25 closed from Wyoming to New Mexico. This is probably the biggest storm I've ever been in, but I didn't realize it until now.

If you haven't received a holiday card from me, don't fret--I'm sending them after our vacation when I'm stuck in a bed.
