Surviving the Snow

Claire and I ventured out twice today, once to give the dogs somewhere to do their business, and to measure the snow with our bodies, and the second time to beg neighbors to help us dig out. The neighbor with the snow blower wouldn't even answer their door, but the young man next door was kind enough to agree to shovel us out tomorrow the old fashioned way.

Otherwise, we're trying not to kill each other, as spending so much time without any other stimulation of company is pretty hard.

Let me tell you, I had a scary moment when the satellite lost its signal, so I took the broom out and did some sweeping magic. Thank goodness that worked, or else I might have needed a frontal lobotomy.

We may be delayed getting to Boston, but we're still planning on getting out there. We'll see what happens tomorrow with marc's planned flight back in from New Zealand. Keep you fingers crossed!
