Samuel James Allspaw Pomeroy

Our little boy finally decided to make his appearance early Sunday morning, July 1, 2007 at 6:30 a.m. Samuel James Allspaw Pomeroy was born via c-section because he was in distress during labor--we found out later that his cord was wrapped around his neck. Luckily, I got to be awake for this one, with an epidural in place, and got to see him and kiss him while I was still on the operating table. He's a trooper so far, a very good baby with lots of quiet alert time. We're all doing well, although we're all very tired. Pictures of Sam are at www.flickr.com/photos/squeedunk.
