February Disappears
As the snow has disappeared from our street (with the help of the sun and some front loaders), so has February. I have no idea where the time goes. And now it's time for AWP! I'm excited to go this year for a number of reasons:
There are a few people who I wish I could see but who aren't coming. You know who you are, and I'll miss you.

I wrote a poem in crayon on the back of a kid's menu at the Outback the other night. Draft, of course (what else could happen in crayon?), but I'm just proud of myself for using 15 minutes wisely while waiting for a friend.
- An anthology that I contributed to is being released (Deep Travel)
- My friend Tayari is reading on Saturday night
- Atlanta has the promise of being warmer than Colorado
- I get to catch up with some of my greatest friends
- I get to catch the writing bug again
- I will buy Rigo's new book Butterfly Boy
