Stuck in a Bed
Well, I'm stuck in a bed again. Thankfully, this time it will only be for one week. Cerclage has been placed, so this kid isn't going anywhere until it's ready to come out. I have the love of 2 schnauzers in bed with me, and more DVDs from Christmas to keep me entertained without resorting to daytime TV.
I'm thinking about revisiting the bed poems though, which I'm sort of dreading. I had started some other poems earlier this fall, and I think it's been so long since I've had a good writing habit that I'm afraid of going back. If ever there was a new year's resolution, that's it.
Denver's due for some more snow tomorrow, but so far, lots has melted from the past 2 blizzards. I consider that a good thing. I can even see a patch of pavement on my small residential street.

Very much enjoyed my leisurely stroll through your world...as a poet and an avid reader, I found it both enriching and enlightening. I thank you...
Ugh-- sorry to hear you aren't well.
Perhaps something to do...
We are sponsoring a poetry contest on our blog, and I thought you and your readers might be interested. Our website-- www.aridni.com --focuses on personal finance... though with a degree in English, I couldn't resist.
We're offering Amazon gift certificates to winners and trackbacks, so I hope to see your entry. The only requirement is that your poetry submission relates to themes of our website (money, wealth, business ethics, etc.).

Hope to hear from you!
